The challenge
The Department of Early Education & Care needed one system to handle licensing, background checks, grant applications, staff management and professional development — all interconnected, all serving educators with limited time.
Approach
- 01Joined mid-cycle: audited existing work, learned the Salesforce architecture, and shipped high-quality design without slowing the dev train.

My role
I joined as UX/UI Consultant after the project was already underway — auditing existing work, learning the established Salesforce architecture, and shipping high-quality design without slowing the development train. From there I owned the full UX/UI process: research, information architecture, component design, stakeholder presentations, and final handoff. I made the calls on how users moved through the system, what they saw first, and how the platform felt across six distinct but interconnected portals.
